Bob Wigley - Public RelationsRobert J. Wigley was Chairman and CEO of the Water Products Companies in Minneapolis, Minnesota from 1967 to 1985. Between 1989 and his retirement in 1998, he served as Chairman of the Great Plains Companies in Minneapolis where he still serves on the board of directors. Locally, Mr. Wigley was a member of the board of directors of SunTrust Banks of Southwest Florida from 1994 to 1998. As a resident of Sanibel and Lee County since 1985, Mr. Wigley has been a strong supporter of area non-profits and currently holds board positions with BIG Arts, Florida Repertory Theatre, Sanibel Captiva Kiwanis, The Schoolhouse Theater, Community Foundation of Sanibel-Captiva, and United Way of Lee County. In recognition of his lifelong commitment to helping others, Mr. Wigley was named Lee County's Outstanding Fund Raiser of the Year as part of the National Philanthropy Day Awards Program for 2004. Mr. Wigley graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics.
