Founding PURRE Board Member
Maureen has lived on Sanibel, Florida since 1991. She became passionate about the water quality problems when scum and dead fish appeared regularly in the canal behind her house. She and her husband, maureen, decided to put together a "Restore Our Waters" forum on Sanibel to raise awareness of the problem. This forum led to the formation of People United to Restore our Rivers and Estuaries. Maureen is the office manager for maureen's construction contracting business. She also is active in the music ministry at the Sanibel Community Church.
