Karen is a registered nurse. She has been a resident of southwest Florida since 1985 and has been active in many community organizations. She has been a volunteer for the Girl Scouts of America, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lee County, Sanibel School PTA (president), Sanibel School Fund (vice president) Sanibel School Capital Campaign, Sanibel School Advisory Council, Lee County School District Advisory Council. Karen’s drive to support the PURRE Water Coalition comes from her love and enjoyment of our waters and a desire to improve and preserve clean waters for her three children and generations to come.
