 The goal of PURRE is to restore and protect the marine ecosystem of South Florida and in doing so, protect the economy as well.
With an office in South West Florida, staff on hand, and the many volunteers who believe in the cause, our mission is to educate and unite the public to advocate for change of current policies that are desecrating our environment and quality of life.
Donations towards this cause will
be very much needed and appreciated.

Political:
- Public Education
- Advocating restoration of our waterways
- Influencing water quality policies and programs
- Partner with other conservation and advocacy groups
Legal
- Identify and explore legal actions
- Prepare briefs during official comment periods
for rulemaking, NEPA reviews, etc.
- Establish standing for future legal actions
Media/Public Information
- Focus on educating the public through articles
and messages
- Public presentations to groups
- Respond to media
- Keep water quality issues in the news
